4th Annual Lexington AAPI 5K Run ‘n’ Walk will be held on May 25

Join Us in Celebrating AAPI Heritage Month with the AAPI 5K Run/Walk!
An eco-friendly “green race” proudly organized by the Chinese American Association of Lexington (CAAL) and Hey Runners Club.

🎉 Event Highlights:

  • In partnership with Schneider Electric, we’re minimizing environmental impact to make this a Green & Sustainable 5K.
  • Proudly part of the Lexington 250th Anniversary Celebrations.
  • Taste of AAPI – Enjoy complimentary samples of delicious AAPI cuisines after the race.
  • First 300 registrants receive a premium, super-light, quick-dry race T-shirt.
  • First 200 registrants receive a free running belt.
  • Special registration rates: $10 for ages 60+, $20 for kids 6 and under.
  • USATF-certified 5K course.

第四届 AAPI 5 K Run ‘n’ Walk Presented by Schneider Electric

5月将至，又迎来了一年一度的亚太传统月。由莱镇华协(CAAL) 和莱镇“Hey Runners”跑团联合举办的第四届莱镇亚太裔5K跑步/健走活动(Lexington AAPI 5K Run ‘n’ Walk)现已开始报名！今年恰逢“莱克星顿的枪声”(Battle of Lexington and Concord) 250周年纪念，本次AAPI 5K也是纪念这场独立战争庆典的重要活动之一，今年新增加的主旨是打造一场绿色可持续的5K赛事。

6 Days to Go — Less Than a Week Until Lex250!

Today’s #CalendarKeepers are the incredible members of the Lex250 Outside Beautification Team, led by Commission member Bebe Fallick, longtime community legend Sophia Ho, Commission member Melanie Lin, and members of the CAAL Youth Leadership Council.

This dedicated crew will be hard at work adorning Lexington Center with Bebe’s and Sophia’s handmade patriotic bows to bring extra beauty and spirit to our town as we approach Patriots’ Day and the 250th anniversary of the Battle of Lexington.

Their work is a reminder that every detail — from major events to festive flourishes — contributes to the unforgettable celebration that is almost here.

Look for the colorful bows going up this week — and thank those who are making Lexington shine!
