The CAAL Moon Festival performances took place at Brookhaven in Lexington on Sept 28 was a dazzling display of cultural heritage and artistic expression. Traditional lion dances kicked off the event, followed by martial arts filling the stage with vibrant colors and rhythmic drumming. Skilled performers showcased graceful Chinese fan and ribbon dances, their movements flowing like the autumn breeze. Beautiful musical performances featured traditional instruments such as the guzheng, creating enchanting melodies that echoed under the full moon.
The night concluded with a dazzling Dunhuang long ribbon dance, where glowing lanterns lit up the festival, leaving a lasting sense of wonder and celebration.
