Dear Business Owners/Organization Leaders,
We are writing to invite you to participate in a celebration of the Lunar New Year. The Chinese American Association of Lexington (CAAL), the Lexington Historical Society, the Korean American Organization of Lexington (KOLex), the New Legacy Cultural Center (NLCC), and the Town of Lexington are organizing this festive event, and we would love for you to be a part of it.
One way you can participate is by hosting a lantern at your store/office from January 21st (Lunar New Year’s Eve) through February 5th (Lantern Festival). We will provide the lanterns free of charge and, if you choose, will include your location in a publicly advertised treasure hunt, encouraging the public to seek out the lanterns. This is a great opportunity to drive foot traffic to your business and to raise awareness about this important holiday in the East Asian community.
If you would like to participate, please email newlegacycenter@gmail.com by January 25th with your contact name, phone number, business name, and address. Please indicate whether you would like your lantern to be included in the treasure hunt.
