This event highlights the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion by providing a platform to share powerful narratives of courage, resilience, and the pursuit of the American dream.
Submissions should reflect the immigrant experience in the United States, especially in or related to Lexington. Both native languages and English are acceptable for writing.

Painting

| Adult Painting | Ages 18 and above |
| Youth Painting | Ages 13 to 17 |
| Children’s Painting | Ages 12 and below |
Painting submissions should be either 11×14, 12×16, or 16×20 inches.
Writing
| Submission Category | Age Requirements |
| Adult Writing | Ages 18 and above |
| Youth Writing | Ages 13 to 17 |
| Children’s Writing | Ages 12 and below |
Writing submissions include essays, poems, and short stories, and should be less than 2,000 words.
