Our Mission
We provide free speech and debate classes which are planned, promoted, and taught by high school debaters looking to contribute their knowledge to the growth of young middle schoolers. Our mission is to expose these middle schoolers to the world of speech and debate, as well as gain all the beneficial skills that come with these activities. This program will not only aid students who are interested in speech and/or debate, but will also promote skills such as self-confidence, critical thinking, public speaking, etc. So far, we have run one successful speech and debate camp during the past school year and hope to continue under the supervision and guidance of CAAL.
