Our Mission
Chinese Games for Seniors Program connects Lexington seniors and teens through Chinese games. CGS members teach seniors how to play traditional Chinese games, free of charge, for community service hours. CGS currently volunteers at the Lexington Community Center once a week to teach seniors the rules, strategy, and culture behind Mahjong, but is looking to expand to more Chinese games and locations. Each registration-only class typically holds 8-15 seniors and 2-4 CGS teachers and teaching assistants. Established at 01/2023.
